This is a two piece Kydex service style holster that has eyelets on each side to allow adjustment of cant and height. This holster is suspended by proprietary Batwing belt loops that can be reversed to provide even greater parameter of adjustment and it is easily modified, utilizing the built in eyelet attachment points. The Batwings also extend the footprint of suspension by a full three inches over similar holsters with the loops attached directly in the back. This distributes the weight over a 50% larger area and provides additional comfort when carrying a duty size sidearm for extended periods, where a high carry if preferable. This holster has a specific contour to allow it to hug the hip where it would be worn in typical service style and it tightly hugs the torso and minimizes the profile. The Cobra incorporates a user adjustable retention screw and can be had with additional retention devices if required although the Kydex retention on this model is excellent, and can be manipulated when made, to your desired specifications. The Cobra can also be had with traditional sweat guard and abrasion protection ears. There is no comparison to those copy cat look-a- likes that use a belt loop on the back. Those users that have a longer torso and like real high rides, the bat wings provide the foundation of mechanical advantage to build a real high ride holster that is mechanically sound and comfortable.
