Constructed from a ceramic inner core and wrapped with a Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), making these plates FAR less susceptible to damage versus standard ceramic plates. These are TOUGH Level IV plates! Remember, these are lab certified to meet NIJ 0101.06 level IV protection criteria! Level 4 body armor is designed to defeat 30-06 M2 AP. These plates have been lab certified to defeat this particular threat.
