Celox RAPID Ribbon Hemostatic Gauze
 
Celox Rapid Ribbon is a narrow version of Celox Raix Z-Fold Gauze, featuring a 1" gauze strip which is designed for use on severe bleeding wounds with small entry or exit holes. The small and compact size make it convenient to carry and store in the most compact trauma kits.
 
Seconds save lives. Celox RAPID saves nearly 2 minutes in compression and wound packing compared to other hemostatic agents such as ChitoGauze and Quickclot Combat Gauze. Celox RAPID Ribbon gauze contains Chito-R granules that stick to wet tissue in the wound, forming a gel that seals the wound and stops bleeding, while speeding up compression.
 
Celox Rapid packs faster than traditional gauze and other alternatives, and can even eliminate the compression step entirely after packing, based on independent studies. Once applied, Celox Rapid's ability to adhere to wet tissue helps the gauze stay in place during patient transport, maintaining hemostasis.
